April Fool's Day forecast!
Yes... there is snow predicted for the weekend!
Question: Are the trails open?
Yes our trails are still open but only if the gate is open.
The state has closed their gates on the rail bed. Some landowners may have closed gates on their property. If gates are closed please respect them and do NOT go around the gate. We want to maintain good relationships for next year. There will be NO grooming. If you head out expect spring like conditions with no base. That's if we get the foot or more snow as predicted.
Your Help is Needed! We had a land owner visit the meeting last night, and sadly it was not for a good reason. It was brought to our attention that his property, Mt Jessie, has been being miss used. Riders have been going off the designated trail and past No Trespassing signs. They have been lighting fires, leaving trash, going through his storage containers, and even rode across his deck. A member of our director team contacted Fish and Game immediately. This property has several miles of Corridor 22 that crosses it and other trails that are maintained by both the Powder Mill Snowmobile Club and the Evergreen Valley Snowmobile Club. Needless to say, loosing use of this land would be detrimental to both clubs. If you have any knowledge of this activity, please contact us or Fish and Game directly.
