This is why Corridor 22 from Johnson’s to Rt. 28 is not open. This hole has swallowed a groomer up to the frame before. If you go in with a sled, you will be fishing it out and looking for a new one. PLEASE do not go around the gates and barriers like some else already has, this trail is closed for your safety.

Both groomers were out last night, and will continue to be out as long as operators are available. For the most part, conditions are good. We still have a lot of open water to contend with, most have a safe way around but some will require you to go through, pass at your own risk. If you come to a gate, caution tape across the trail, or a “no snowmobile” sign, that section of trail is still closed because it isn’t passable yet. Lastly, the washout behind the Cocheco Veterinary office is scheduled to be fixed this afternoon, large equipment will be in the trail.
